What do you know, I found the receipt!
I got it from Forbidden Planet in Edinburgh who were having a sale of 20% off all statues (which got me in the door), so I took it off their hands for £37.59 down from £46.99.
Subtracting the UK’s 17.5% sales tax brings its actual value to exactly £32, which (given the unfavorable exchange rate) makes it comparable to around $58 in greenbacks, which is the low end of what most websites seem to be offering it for (before tax and shipping), while on eBay it’s going for $90-100. So I didn’t really get a deal on it, but it could have been worse.
It’s hard to see, but there’s a wire dropping from his right hand with a batarang on the end.
